#Day3 paying tribute. For centuries we have lived in countries that we had to leave. The forced exils and the chosen ones take us far from our ancestors. We are blessed to aknowledge where we come from and even more to be able to go back and be welcome to pay tribute to the vestiges. (And even more)As we were in the Jewish cemetery of Tunis, the #borjel, we have been told of #agnesvarda death. A great lady and a fantastic child has left our territories but not our hearts. And the world and the stars are the places from where pay her tribute.

The friend was lucky not to be in the scenic kennel, and all together the experiment reminded me of the #matzahKerkennah one. It was 2 years ago March 27th, with my fellow artist we embarked in a colorful ferry for an artistic journey. This time, the creation will be with craftartist and I am excited.

Back from day one. It was a cloudy morning and it was an inspiring one. I was about to hit the road for a 2 days trip to Civittavecchia to take the ferry. The words that had been reluctant lately, started to flow.

Last day fir the @matttaber37 exhibition « the world is yours if you are real » at @thechimney_nyc. Moving cloud perched on top of a hunting stand, calling for wonder, questioning the digital/material realities. While we were visiting, a line of people came to take selfies and other ego-narratives pictures, only asking for help in their self immortalization. Therefore this exhibition questions about re-appropriation.

Call Out | Invitation -

What is this fragile and subtile place where we shelter to give birth and nurse. What are the twigs we carry to be able to let go our weapons, secrets and treasures. What is this place of our safety, imaginary projection, as well as the one of our eviction. Will we collect our own creation or will we seize someone else’s ?

It is not only about what we actually give birth to, the material, the tangible. No, the precious in life is more on what will remain in our memories, in our hearts. When what we don’t know we have poured, comes back and tells its deepness and teaches its lessons. #yama @vertigodance #noawertheim

L’exil intérieur -

(Sorry, this article is for now only available in French)
More…
