via Instagram @nathalierodach - 8 July 20198 July 2019 #sharfia voilee is a #landart piece made during the @matzaproduction residency in #kerkennah. The aim of this residency was ro capture the Kerkennah island. This place in Tunisia is well known for being the workers Tunisian union cradle and for its very unique fisherman nests, the sharfias, that look just like uteruses. The women were in all the man’s mouses, they told me how important and free they were in this land, but I saw them nowhere in the streets. It is, they said because they were busy working and taking care. I decided to veil a sharfia With medical gauze.
